Reflections Political Poster

This poster was a part of the PTA Reflections Contest for the 2020-2021 school year. The theme was "I Matter Because". I had to create a piece of artwork and then describe it and why it connected to the theme. Here is my writing entry:

This election has made a huge impact on America. Whether you mailed in your vote, voted in person, voted for Biden or for Trump, every vote counts. Every vote brings us closer to the change we need. Change for the wellbeing of this country. Change for younger generations. Change for our elders. Even though my generation is not old enough to vote, we still voted for change one way or another. Whether going to Black Lives Matter protests, standing up for what we believe in, or speaking our minds about topics that mean something to us. We are the future of this country. So, I matter because I am the future, and the future matters.

Campaign Poster

This project is a campaign for a world issue. I chose to focus on the orcas at Sea World because this was during the time that the orcas were being abused and not treated well. I had to create a logo for this campaign, a website, several forms of merchandise, posters, and stationery.
